I would declare state of emergency in the education sector. 

   - Ayobami Sanda

For just a day, nothing can really be achieved, but I'll pay all the workers their money. That way, the economy of the state will be revived.

I will be ready to push the state into debts, huge debts, if only to provide functional and quality education for citizens. Vocational education that could be to our immediate advantage, not necessarily University education. Who is an engineer when there are trained technicians to execute the job. Without an article clerk, what can an auditor do. We placed the cart before the horse in this country. We should stop educating students for clerical or administrative jobs only. We all dont have to be salary earners.

I would approve pending capital projects affecting the lives of our people at the grassroots.

The first thing if possible is to increase the minimum wage of workers. I will pass into law the good bills most especially the ones favouring education and economy sector in the state.

I can't do anything in just one day. Governance is not a piece of cake. You can only appear on TV and enjoy one Banquet Dinner as Gov for a day.

Free education and health services shall be declared, I will reach out to the less privileged and also give out farm inputs and support to farmers.

I will reduce governor security votes, reduce money going to politicians pocket, approve a proposal for upgrading educational standard, and find means of paying the hungry workers and fix a date for local government election.

Hardly will you achieve anything meaningful in a day but I will set roll out policy and guidance in all establishments including health and safety management system.

I will pay the outstanding salaries of all workers if the resources are available. Reduce political appointees and move for the reduction in wages for political office holders.

Corruption has been our way of life and its killing us. We need reorientation in that aspect. So, I will make a decree (like a military junta) that act of corruption and indiscipline should be in the academic curriculum to teach our upcoming kids or generation on morals and values of life.
