As July 16th, 2016 approaches, all hands are on deck to usher in a new set of leadership of the Alumni association of the prestigious institution, Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo after years of inactivity.

The institution which has ex-students from all walks of life spread across the universe shall be witnessing an epic change of leadership for the first time since the inception of the Alunmi association.

After several periods of consistent efforts to resuscitate and revitalize the dying Alumni, a large group of members who have prioritized the unity and progress of the association named 'The Peace Ambassadors', have come out to unveil the presidential candidate for the National Alumni Association.

According to information available, the group has decided to adopt and present this man who has steered clear of the many controversies and drama that some other Presidential candidates are already deep in. A man obviously of the people, MUTIU ADEWUYI, remains the candidate to beat as his intimidating profile has already set him ahead.

His Background;

A humble man of noble background, ADEWUYI MUTIU ADENIYI's educational sojourn started between 1977/1983 at Ansar Ud Deen Primary School, Oyo before he proceeded to Ladigbolu Grammar School in 1983. It was during his secondary school education that his leadership skills came to the full glare of colleagues and teachers. Mutiu's academic sojourn took him to the great citadel, Federal College of Education, Oyo where he studied Agric Science/SLD. Between 1994 and 1995, he was elected into the much contested post of the Financial Secretary of the Students' Union Government.

Mr. Adewuyi was known for his penchant for transparency and accountability. This earned him a slot in an Investigating Committee set up to probe some financial inconsistencies of the excos of the National Association of Oyo Students in 1993. It was this same year that he was nominated as the Chairman of the Electoral Committee of the same student's national body.

Adewuyi Mutiu has a M.Sc in Business Administration (UNILAG) and a Masters' Degree Student (PUBLIC ADMIN) in the Olabisi Onabanjo University.
