OMOIYAKUNMI:
As a research consultant/Data analyst, what are basically your areas of
expertise?
PRINCE

statistical software to perform data analysis in some areas such as social
sciences, arts and humanities, sciences, clinical sciences and psychology, and
naturalistic studies.
As
a data analyst, I also analyze data from questionnaire, focus group discussion
(FGD), indepth interview, key-informant interview (KII) observation, graphics,
anecdotal records and likes.
As
a research consultant, I offer services and skills such assistance in the
selection of thesis title, or what is commonly known as project topics,
development of research instruments, scale validation for research use. I can
offer guides on how to carry out any type of research both in the academic and
nonacademic settings. I also edit thesis, reports and proposals.
OMOIYAKUNMI:
You run a research and consulting organization that has offered professional
and academic succor to establishments and students alike in recent times but
lately, you just extended your tentacles to your hometown, Oyo. What can you
say inspired this move and what are the achievements of your organization in
recent times?
PRINCE
SANDA: Yes, you are very right. I just opened a new branch office in Oyo and
this was largely informed by my passion and love for Oyo town. It’s so
unfortunate to note that firms or organizations based on research are rarely
found in Oyo and I even doubt if we have any. An organization like this adds
beauty to the intellectual development of the town. This alone is my drive.
I
was also motivated by the fact that some youths and school-going adolescents
especially in higher institutions within the environment can easily enjoy our
services and register for training. In the recent time, some of my clients have
recorded excellent successes in their PhD theses, even in the new office at
Oyo, some university students of Oyo extraction have enjoyed up-to-date
consultancy services regarding their research work.
OMOIYAKUNMI:
So, briefly, sir, in what other ways do you intend to impact in the lives of
students, especially those of tertiary institutions of Oyo descent through the
new branch you just established?
PRINCE
SANDA: Well, we intend to help students by guiding them on how to be
independent in their study and teaching them study tips that can ensure
academic success. We are going to be training interested students the skills of
research and data analysis which shall be at a very affordable fee. To buttress
this, our services ever since we opened the Oyo branch have been offered at a
50% discount fee.
We
will also be training students on how to become astute readers (readers are
leaders) and we are already working towards having a Readers’ Club soon.
OMOIYAKUNMI:
As a professional trainer and data analyst, do you employ the use of any
software packages to train and in running some of your works?
