FUNAAB STUDENTS TO PAY 5,000 NAIRA REPARATION FEE AS SCHOOL DECLARES OCT. 4 DEADLINE


The management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in Ogun State has announced, via the school's portal, that students of the institution are to pay a reparation fee of 5,000 Naira.
The reparation fee which is levied against the students after the Students’ Unrest of Thursday, 18th August, 2016 when the they protested the poor security situation of neighboring areas where the students reside.

In the announcement, the management stated that the Senate approved the payment of the sum of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00),(inclusive of REMITA charges) per student as reparation fee. In addition to the payment, the students are also ordered to present a letter of undertaking to be of good conduct from their parents and affidavit from the Court of law. 

The deadline for compliance is 4th October, 2016.
