The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone D has ordered a mass protest action against the government of Osun State over the government's inability to meet up with the ultimatum earlier given by the students' body with respect to the continued closure of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.

In a press statement released by the Secretary General of the Union, Com. Olanrewaju Oloja, he called on all students across the the South West axis to rally round for the mother of the protest tagged 'Reopen LAUTECH'.
The rally is scheduled is scheduled to hold on Monday, 29th, August, 2016 at Olaiya Junction Osogbo by 8.00am.
