AROSAD BLASTS HON. SKIMEH, SAYS HIS POLITICAL CAREER IS TROUBLED!

Hon. Arowosaye Saheed
 The Peoples' Democratic Party flag-bearer for the House of Representatives, Oyo Federal Constituency in the 2015 general elections, Hon. Arowosaye Saheed, this morning took to his Facebook page to blast the Honorable member representing Oyo Federal Constituency, Hon. (Prince) Adeyemi Akeem for making what he termed a 'malicious claim'.

Apparently angered by the statement of  the sitting Honorable member, Arowosaye Saheed denied the said claim that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for the Oyo Federal constituency ticket for which he validly contested and won was held in trust for Hon. Adeyemi Akeem pending the time he was going to defect to PDP from APC.

Quoting Hon. Saheed, he wrote;

'My attention has been drawn to a malicious claim by Prince Adeyemi Akeem Adeniyi Obasegun, the member representing Oyo Federal constituency in the House of Representatives alleging that the ticket of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for the Oyo Federal constituency in the 2015 general elections which I validly contested and won was held in trust for him pending his defection to the party which he further claimed he rejected.

Ordinarily, I would not have responded to Prince Adeyemi's baseless claims but I deemed it necessary to correct that misinformation by the honourable member and to set the records straight. It's on record that Prince Adeyemi won the All Progressive Congress (APC) long before I contested and was returned as the winner of the PDP ticket. At no point was any agreement reached for me to cede the ticket to Prince Adeyemi should the event he returned to the PDP which he claimed. I urge the good people of Oyo Federal constituency and other members of the public to disregard Prince Adeyemi's deliberate misrepresentation of facts. His claims can only be a figment of his imagination,a failed attempt to salvage his troubled political career in his trouble party.'

As at the time of this report, efforts are being made to reach the concerned Honorable member to hear his side of the story.
