The Special Adviser to the Deputy Speaker on Legislative Matters, Federal House of Representatives, Abuja and a former member of the Oyo Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2015, Honourable Kamil Akinlabi Mudashiru, has urged Muslims to abide by the teachings and practices of Islam in all their daily activities, towards ensuring peace, unity and progress in the country.
According to a press statement through his media aide, Mr Jimoh Opeyemi, Honourable Akinlabi gave the advice while hosting Muslim Youths Forum after Jummat service at his residence, at the weekend.
Akinlabi stated "As we have purified our hearts and come out cleaner from sins, we should pray for the stability of this country, peaceful coexistence between the arms of government and eschew all acts capable of creating disharmony among ethnics and religions".
